About Us
Shane started in the marine industry just out of high school in 1989 working in a small shop called Advance Marine Service that specialized in Jet Drives with owner Rob Brown and such mentors as Dave Holmes of D&H Marine aka (Horizon Boats) and Don Conaugh of Advanced Pump Works in the Las Vegas area. After learning a lot in the business he went to work for Marine Products Pro Shop and learned about Tournament type ski boats, Stern Drive powered boats, Outboards and earning many
certifications with company’s such as Mercury, OMC, Volvo Penta, Indmar, Master Craft, Wet Jet and Holley. Shortly after, he was promoted to the Service Manager position, after 6 years he was offered the opportunity to open an all new shop from scratch in Henderson, Nevada called Offshore Marine were he spent the last 20 years running the Service and Parts Dept. Now he is on his own to start another shop in his favorite city lake Havasu with the birth of Havasu Marine Specialties.
